Meet MBLAQ
Pop act turned producer, Rain’s new 5 member group called MBLAQ from his management company has made their debut in the October 2009 issue of NYLON magazine (Korea). Two years in the making, MBLAQ will release their first single in mid October 2009.

Give 4Minute
4minute is a South Korean girl group created by Cube Entertainment. The leader of the group is JiHyun. 4minute was announced in May 2009, along with two of the groups members, Kim HyunA and Nam JiHyun. On June 11, 2009, the silhouette teaser video was released online, along with their official website. The remaining three members identities were kept secret until June 12. On June 15, 2009, their debut single "Hot Issue" was released along with another teaser video and the profiles for each group member. Within hours of the song release, it quickly climbed various digital music charts.
4minute debuted on June 18 on M! Countdown and will continue their 'Hot Issue' promotions after June.

The Girls of Kara
Kara (카라) is a South Korean Girl Group under DSP Entertainment. The word kara stand for sweet melody in Irish. Kamilia is the offical name of their fanclub and pearl peach is their official balloon colour. They debuted in 2007 as a four member girl group with the song Break It. In March 2008, Kara's main vocalist Kim Sung Hee, left the group due to parental pressure. Her participation in the group interfered with her grades. DSP decided to hold a public audition to find 2 girls to replace the one. The new Kara debuted in late July 2008, with their song Rock U. The song didn't receive much publicity as the girls were still not known by many.The girls once again released another mini album. Their comeback was in early December with the song Pretty Girl.
Park Gyuri (박규리)

Acted on drama's as a child in Ladies of the Palace as Neum-keum and Oneul eun Cho-eun Nal as Sonagi, Podogi’s girlfriend. She also appeared as an extra in Lee Jun Ki's Pomegranate Juice Commercial. Park Gyuri was a child actress and in another company before she left and auditioned for DSP. She also chose the 'Kara' name.
Han Seung Yeon (한승연)

- Date of birth: July 24, 1988
- Educational Background: Graduated from Tenafly High School (New Jersey); currently attending Kyung Hee University.
Currently has a hosting job on the Starcraft TV show MSL Break and a Korean Talk Show where she has recently replaced So Nyeo Shi Dae's Tiffany; So Nyeon So Nyeo Gayo Baekso or SSGB with Kim Hye-sung. She was also in the Lucky Days PV with SS501, a boy band from her company. Han Seung Yeon almost got into medical school but gave it up because she wanted to be a singer instead. Her parents were initially resistant to the change but eventually gave their consent. It was announced that Han would be joining MBC's entertainment news show Section TV as a "pop columnist", debuting on November 21, 2008.
Jung Nicole (정니콜)

Featured on Sunha's first album Fahrenheit in the song "끈" (String) and featured segment host on KBS's Star Golden Bell Nicole Jung auditioned for DSP Entertainment from the United States. She wrote the rap lyrics for KARA's first album and also came up with the "Yo Jump" for Rock U in the choreography. Jung also joined Star Golden Bell, hosting a segment in which the guests have to guess a term or title from her clues; the challenge comes due to her comparative lack of skill and experience with the Korean language. She debuted on December 20, 2008 and continues to host the segment as of February 2009.
Koo Ha Ra (also known as Goo Hara 구하라)

One of the new members, Koo auditioned for many entertainment companies, including JYP Entertainment and SM Entertainment but unfortunately was declined to all and was accepted into DSP.
Kang Ji Young (강지영)

- Educational Background: Gwanghui Junior High School
She sang Girls Generation's "Kissing U" for her KARA audition.
Get to Know 2PM
2PM is a six-member boy band from Seoul, South Korea. They are managed by Park Jin-young of JYP Entertainment. The members are Nichkhun, Chansung, Jaebeom, Junsu, Taecyeon, Junho, and Wooyoung. 2PM is one of the two subgroups branched out from the eleven-member boy band One Day, the other being 2AM. They debuted with the song "10 out of 10" which showcased their mix of acrobatic and b-boy dance style.
Junsu

Junsu (real name Kim Junsu, born on January 15, 1988) is known as the lead vocalist of the group. He is originally from Daegu, Korea. He originally auditioned for YG Entertainment, where he befriended G-Dragon and Tae Yang of Big Bang.
Nichkhun

Nichkhun is a vocalist in the group. He was born in Rancho Cucamonga, California. He spent his childhood in Thailand and in California and studied abroad in New Zealand. He returned to the States for high school and was scouted by a JYP talent agent in Hollywood, California while he was attending the Korean Music Festival in Los Angeles.
Taecyeon

Taecyeon is the main rapper of the group. He was born in Seoul, South Korea but immigrated to Bedford, Massachusetts at a young age. He originally auditioned for JYP Entertainment in New York to become a model.
Wooyoung
- Full Name: Jang Wooyoung
- Date of Birth: April 30, 1989
Wooyoung is a main vocalist. He is from Busan, Korea and was selected as a JYP trainee through MGoon's JYP auditions. He won first place in this audition.
Junho
- Full Name: Lee Junho
- Date of Birth: January 25, 1990
Junho is a main vocalist and lead dancer of the group. He joined One Day following a winning of a contract with JYP Entertainment after he won a contest in JYP's Superstar Survival in 2006.
Chansung
- Full Name: Hwang Chansung
- Date of Birth: February 11, 1990
Chansung is a vocalist and rapper in the group. He starred in the highly-rated Korean sitcom "Unstoppable High Kick" prior to his debut with 2PM. Chansung participated in the same survival game as Junho but lost. He then auditioned again and later received the title of being the maknae or the youngest of the group.
